Step 1
Holding the mango by the stem end, slice down each cheek. If the mango is ripe, the knife should just glide past the seed.
Step 2
Cut the cheek flesh with the tip of a knife in a "criss-cross" or diamond pattern.
Step 3
Turn each cheek inside out. You can slice the cubes off easily to use in salads or recipes, or just spoon it out and enjoy!
